Guest guest
Yikes is right. Can you hang something from the ceiling? Of course, you'd have wires running down the wall but it seems as if the worst he would do to those would be to unplug them? Salli

Guest guest
Wow! What a close call. Hope you find something. Hey, what about those push lights that you get from Walmart...they're only a dollar or so? My step-daughter bought a couple for her room. They work nice and there is no exposed bulb...they just stick to the wall. It's a thought... Tamara --- Amy Helmuth wrote: > Ugh. Just what I didn't need today! Guest guest
Those push lights are a really good idea. I bought one to use when I was nursing , and brought it home only to discover that it lit my room almost as well as the regular light, and was a lot safer. The drawback was that it ate up batteries like nobodies business, but investing in a battery recharger would prolly be worth it. They don't get hot either. You may wanna check into this one Amy. Good idea Tamara!! tamara laskowski wrote: >Wow! What a close call. Hope you find something. >Hey, what about those push lights that you get from >Walmart...they're only a dollar or so? Guest guest
Amy, Glad you caught it in time. We've experienced something like this quiet awhile back. I think the push light idea was a good one! We wired in our own ceiling fixtures to avoid that from happening again, but if you're renting, it probably can't be done. Guest guest
My GOODNESS, Amy!!!! Have an electrician come out to put in a ceiling light, or maybe a couple of sconces instead of lamps? I don't know, but holy moly!!!! Frightening! I don't have any light in my girls' room. Now I know why!!!! Whew ~ thank heavens you caught it! Guest guest
Maybe try one of those tap lights? They don't get hot and there's no exposed bulb. So you had such a scare. I don't know if it would be enough light for you but I have tap lights mounted in 's room so I can check on her at night. G
