Hi to June-- and all- the 02 situation- firstly- is a little strange to be having 02 at home with such good blood levels.

here in Australia as Lee says its not until sats go way down that you can get 02 for home.

As Kay says the Non TB micro could be some of the problem

lack of good upper body excersise too- like all have stated- and heart- but I am sure your daughter would be well aware and keeping you informed etc.

Sleep deprivation- the need for CPAP etc also could be an issue--

Many people now have had amazing help with their breathing and help with things like anxiety and depression etc- all are effected by incorrect breathing- and sleep apnea.

As someone said here too the old saying use it or lose it certainly rings home with most- one way or another every single part of our being inside and out needs to be used well- and as we age- we need to do more- as we get new ailments same too.

I get back to making sure healthy eating- less fats etc-- more healthy fluids- water etc- keeping the elimination of toxins out- all play a huge part in breathing--whether bronchiectasis, asthma, sinus, almost all to do with respitory are linked and all have impact on breathing- whether walking, sleeping, swimming etc- while all great- we all need to start with the simple things first- then add to it by the medications, tests etc, but with all the tools we need to use- we still need good foods, good habits, excersise and fresh air and sunshine.

In the past month another one of my children have a dx of bronchiectasis, and I have met 3 more people living in my own area, one who actually is doing some voluntary work- often away sick, but often away looking after a 10 yro, grandson- also with bronchiectasis--

Their GP had suggested she come see me for work, but also to learn there is a lot he and her little fellow can do-- he hates sport-- is kept in cottonwool- sits indoors most of day- while others play- hardly ever at school- has no friends because family scared he will have to play and exert himself-- yet he is dragged around shopping with nanna every day-- taken to all the places nanna works as volunteer-- this will never help---he has a puffer- ventolin only at this stage- but was dx at 3 --this poor kid has 3 siblings-- and they are all only allowed to do things that require as little as possible excersise- because not informed correctly by doctors---

Sadly still today doctors seem to either not understand or look for all the new illnesses and not attempt to find out more-- and people simply often accept what their favored GP says without 2nd & 3rd opinions.

June- we are not all the same of course- BUT the things like excersise, diet and such- almost all of us do get some benefit from if we stick to it--- stick to it routinely as long as it takes.

Like Lee, Joy- I too have had some huge health issues and was an invalid for long periods-- but we have had to persist at everything we do- and still do-- and that includes gathering information as you are doing here- so glad you found this great group.

Sandy- Australia
