Guest guest
Yes, they do. I am not sure if it is exactly 50% off on Galactose, but they do offer practitioner pricing on this for our group. Galactose is quite expensive. Guest guest
Dear Limin,Do you know whether galactose is a monosaccharide? I am still trying to get his tummy back in order after the neuro-rehabilitator put him on Ambrotose, a polysaccharide supplement (yeah, I told him I doubted that was something for my son after 1.5 yrs on SCD, but he inssisted). Now he has a bad reflux, I don't have the possibility to get HCL support, the supplement you recommended against reflux, so I am thankful if you or someone else can chime in with additional natural options for this problem, I don't want to give him omeprazol....but the reflux is bad. I know the ambrotose caused a yeast flare, I am trying several things against the yeast, but the reflux is still there. With "Thank yous" and , blessings!IsaPS: lesson learned: moms, when we have a gut feeling, stick to it even if it is against a reputable MD's suggestion....Enviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Sun, 18 Jul 2010 17:47:33 -0700To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Galactose Yes, they do. Guest guest
Thanks Limin. It is expensive ($70 per bottle), so I wanted to make sure that at least there is some discount Do you mind to tell me how much are you giving to your son?and how are you giving it to him? Many thanks Olga > > > > Limin > > > Would you please advice me if Biopure gives half price on the Galactose to the group members. > > Thanks > > Olga >
Guest guest
Olga, I am not using Galactose now. I used to put it in my son's artemisinin cocktail, as Dr. K recommended. Since I pulsed the cocktail, I didn't continue with Galactose either. My son now is on Byron White Formula A-P to treat parasites, and Young Living essential oil blend Di-Gize to support GI tract. Galactose works better, if one is on low carbohydrate diet. My son eats so many fruits daily; unless I can force him to cut down fruit intake, I think that I just waste Galactose on him. For detoxifying brain and liver ammonia, we go back to use BH4, and use DHLA and CoQ-Quinol made by Premier Research Labs for mito support. Galactose calms down microglial activation to reduce brain inflammation, so does BH4. I never did figure out how to measure Galactose. I haven't opened the jar I ordered from Biopure. I was using the sample brought here by Kurt Mosetter MD (the researcher of D-Galactose) and his colleague from Germany. It did not come with a measurement spoon. You might need to call Biopure to see if they can help you. Anyone who has an idea of how to measure the dosage, please chime in. If you plan to start Galactose, per Dr. Mosetter, it should be taken with some good fats such as vitamin E or phospholipids. Guest guest
Hi Isa,In deed, D-Galactose is a monosaccharide closely related to glucose, fructose and mannose, but its absorption is insulin-independent. Has anyone tried apple cider vinegar to treat (acid) reflux? Isa, apple cider vinegar can raise the body pH, stimulate the production of HCL, and reduce reflux. Hope that people who have used ACV to treat reflux can post to share with you their experiences.Limin--http://www.healthbylimin.com/Young Living Distributor # 1111136"Follow those who seek the truth, but flee from those who have found it."-- Unknown originDear Limin,Do you know whether galactose is a monosaccharide? Guest guest
Limin, Thanks for your reply. I see we both have the same problem with our boys. My son also loves to eat lots of fruits and I can't do anything about it. I am trying to give him more berries as the doctor told me they have more fiber and less sugar but it is hard to find fresh organic at the moment, so I am trying to go for fruits that provide more fiber rather than lots of sugar. I will give galactose a try anyway and see how goes on it. So far he is doing well and I am hoping that galactose help him to detoxify amonia, we will see what happen. I may contact Biopure and ask them for further inf. Guest guest
Isa and Limin, I tried Apple Cider Vinager to treat my reflux (normally get it at night only) and it was helping me as I didn't get it while I was on it, but I had to stopped due getting sore toes and knee(left leg only), this is a puzzle to me as I can't find any reason for this to happen. I was so happy taking the ACV, because it was helping me. I was taking the ACV with a 1/4 of bicarbonate and a bit of honey as that is the way it is recommended in a website I found back them. Now I am going to start taking coconut kefir and more fermented vegetables as I have been reading about the BED diet which uses a lot of fermented foods to digest food better and also helps with diestive issues to see if this may me feel a bit better specially at night. Guest guest
Thank you girls, I am using my 4x4 double traction now....big bump in the road, again. I really want to try the galactose....when he gets better after this. I am giving the ACV via enemas, and will try to do the ACV in a "lemonade" at least with lunch.BlessingsIsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelSender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Tue, 20 Jul 2010 11:28:59 -0000To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Galactose Isa and Limin,I tried Apple Cider Vinager to treat my reflux (normally get it at night only) and it was helping me as I didn't get it while I was on it, but I had to stopped due getting sore toes and knee(left leg only), this is a puzzle to me as I can't find any reason for this to happen.I was so happy taking the ACV, because it was helping me.I was taking the ACV with a 1/4 of bicarbonate and a bit of honey as that is the way it is recommended in a website I found back them. Now I am going to start taking coconut kefir and more fermented vegetables as I have been reading about the BED diet which uses a lot of fermented foods to digest food better and also helps with diestive issues to see if this may me feel a bit better specially at night.Olga> > > > > > > > > > > Limin > > > > > > > > > Would you please advice me if Biopure gives half price on the Galactose to the group members.> > > > > > Thanks > > > > > > Olga> > > > > > > > > > > > ------------------------------------> > > > > >
