Guest guest Posted April 18, 2002 Report Share Posted April 18, 2002 This weekend is my " yearly leave the family home " and take off for the weekend with my best friend. We've been doing this for 10+ years; always when the Stars on Ice show is in Portland. Some years, I admit we have allowed my family to join us or brought daughters, but mostly just my good friend of 20+ years. We go to the Art Museum, shop, take a cruise of the islands ( a 3 hr cruise- lol ) shop, eat every meal out, shop, shop, shop, and attend the ice skating show. To my Cajun friends having crawfish boil- I'll have a boiled lobster in your honor this weekend. I'm of Acadian lineage~ LA it's CAjun- this area they kept the name Acadian. There's a huge festival in northern Maine each summer-one big family reunion! Wonder how full my mailbox will be when I get home Sunday pm?
