Hi everyone,

Not the best morning for me as I feel a UTI is coming on rather fast.

I've already called the doctor's office and run to the lab for a test.

Waiting for the results now and hoping they will get a presciption

called in before too much longer. A little confused over this

happening now as I have been drinking a lot of water and my sugars

have been down considerably. Had my lowest morning reading today of

136 and I even got down to 98 after breakfast :-) Been on a low carb

diet, would that have anything to do with it? Also, does anyone have a

recipe for a sugar free cranberry drink?? I was thinking of cooking up

some fresh cranberries, adding equal, and ice in the blender....maybe

some cream and diet grape soda. Would appreciate some other

suggestions!

Also T., enjoyed your in depth critic of Bernstein's book. One of

my faults in the past has been to jump on the band wagon and try every

new " sure cure " for reducing my blood sugars and weight. Your comments

have given me food for thought! I am T2 and I know that my weight is

one of the major issues. I also know that through trial and error I

must keep my carbs pretty low to control my bgs and to loose any

weight. Also, have to throw in greatly increased exercise to get the

ball rolling. Happy to say since MON I have come down 5 lbs. Doing the

treadmill thing for the first time in months! Today was the first day

too that I have not had those horrible food cravings that make me an

insane person. Keep writing I love your posts!
