Don't know if this will help but you can get a special ball to do ball rolling

on (on floor or against wall) which will help release tight muscles - fitball

body therapy balls. I would try doing this daily. A tennis ball might even

work, although may be a bit small. Just googled it and here is a site that

sells them to give you an idea of what I am talking about. This is what my

physio has me use, but my symptoms are not as severe as yours but am just

throwing it out there. You could also try magnesium but whether or not that

would help since your cramping is due to the TC I am not sure.

Subject: muscle spasms

Hi, hope everyone is having a great weekend.

I was wondering if anyone is having muscle spasms? I have been getting a lot of

them in my right buttock, they get pretty painful and annoying.

Are you on anything for this? It keeps me up at least 3 nights a week, other

times it's just a nuisance, so not sure if I should bother with meds.

Thanks!

Thanks! I will try it. The right leg is the one that bothers me the most.

Hopefully this will help! :)

Yes, I get alot of muscle spasms in my back, buttocks, private parts, thighs and

knees. I use alot of heat and make sure I get adequate calcium and magnesium. I

was put on muscle relaxers for it but I cant take them.

I really don't want anymore meds. I feel a bit tired on the morphine already,

esp when I'm stressed.

But some nights!!!

Have you tried Baclophen. It is the only thing that works for me and so far

without bad side effects and I am super sensitive to everything!

The 2 things that I take, which work well for me, are Carisoprodol (SOMA)

whenever I have spasms (which I get everywhere in my body) and Tizadinine (which

my neurologist prescribed for night time before bed).

best,

Cate

I am doubling Neurontin from 300mg x 3, to 900mg x 3.

And I have a few moves to do while sitting.

Otherwise we are gonna try the SOMA

Thanks!!
