Guest guest
Other than the mess it can be, popcorn I think is good. You can get snack sized bags or larger bags. When we travel, albeit in a motorhome, I cut some meat and cheeses up and have high protein snacks. Sometimes we get to have wheat thins too. I sure miss my spread cheese on Ritz though. a
Guest guest
I know everytime someone goes somewhere this is posted but I am on the road again for up to 12 hours and I'm looking for good snacks and NOT CARROTS, lol lol I don't know I'm just not a snacker so finding something interesting is going to be hard but I want to try to better control my sugars this trip. When I drive they shoot up and I know that's just the pressure of driving. Any suggestions?
Guest guest
I keep a bag of Trail Mix handy with nuts, dried fruit, etc. If you look, you can find them without the M & Ms. Link Shadley PO Box 976 Astoria, OR 97103 State phone: Home Office: Home FAX: Cell: lshadley@... link.shadley@... link@... Guest guest
---I like the cheese snacks, cubes of cheese already cut up or cut your own! I bought a little insulated handled bag at the dollar store, actually two of them cause we carry his insulin in one, and works well for road trips! Holds a small ice pack too. Of course I like celery so I cut chunks of that up too! A small amount of pretzel sticks. Hard candy can be sugar free although I usually get the reg. kind. I only eat a couple. One piece lasts a long time. I like the root beer barrels! SF chewing gum. Frozen grapes. I don't eat much while driving. Usually just the hard candy and gum. I snack at the rest stops. Guest guest
--- I like cucumbers sliced also. Easy to eat with fingers and not messy! Just cut, bag and go!
