Guest guest
That was interesting. I never could get 8 glasses of water a day in myself. But if you add the decaf tea and coffee in there, I probably do. Yahoo! Guest guest
, My mom told me that there was even more about this on NPR the other day. The link to NPR is http://www.npr.org. Any way, I had always thought that 8 8 ounce glasses of water was too much for me. It's amazing that I'm even able to get in 40 oz a day. As for the caffeine factor, well, it's hard for me to not once in a while have a pop. I wish that vanilla coke was in diet form in case you haven't tried it yet. I sure like it. They also have cherry coke out now too. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences. __________________________________________________
Guest guest
I did taste the vanilla coke, it wasn't to my liking. But I can't tolerate the taste of cola anymore. Not sure if that is because of the Glucophage or not. I cut the caffeine because of my BP along with the salt and the sweets. Re: Yahoo! Guest guest
, How long have you been on Glucophage for, and what dosage? What side effects if any did you notice when you first started on it? Also to everyone, is there anyone here that knows about a medication Starlix as to what it does? My mom says if she has to go on meds that she might want to do this one b/c she's scared of the Glucophage. Thanks, ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences. __________________________________________________

According to the ads, the DIET vanilla coke will be on the shelves this fall :-) I'm looking forward to trying it too as that was my passion as a kid at (the old) " soda fountains. Although that reminds me of what happened to me a few weeks ago: some of you have talked about ordering diet soda in a restaurant and getting regular? I pushed the button for diet coke on a vending machine, opened the bottle and took a gulp. It tasted of vanilla! Fortunately, because when I looked at the bottle, that's exactly what it was: vanilla coke. Regular vanilla coke. Had it been regular coke, I would probably have drunk the whole bottle without even noticing. Guest guest
I have been on Glucophage XR for about a year and a half now. I am on 500 mg. The only side effect I have noticed is some foods don't have a taste to me anymore. The caramel in cola drinks being one of them. I didn't have the stomach upset that a lot of people including my dad has had. Re: Yahoo!
