Guest guest
I have taken Samento for over a year and have heard of people taking it for 8 years or longer without any side effects other than die-off at first. I have taken Banderol for a month or two without any side effects. I don't really know if there are long-term issues, but I have not seen nor heard of any as of yet. From the research, we can gather that taking Samento puts the Lyme in the round body form, which can be interpreted as to being some kind of cyst or hibernating form. But, really I feel that the most important thing from this research is that Banderol is reducing the " round body form " , which is what the Lyme community has been searching for desperately for quite a while. I told the Nutramedix representative yesterday to make sure they have lots in stock due to the research study. She felt confident that they had enough in stock, but I don't think she understands how fast and far good news travels. Love and prayers, Heidi N > > How long can you safely take Samento and Banderol for without taking a break from it? Guest guest
Agreed. I just ordered both from there today as I would like to start both of them at the same time. Just hope they don't inflame the allergy situation, I can never tell the difference between die off and a bad allergic reaction. > > > > How long can you safely take Samento and Banderol for without taking a break from it? Guest guest
I would suggest to ramp up slowly. I herxed bad from both Samento and Banderol by ramping up too fast. I've been taking NutraMedix products for over 5 years. I still slowly ramp up when switching back to Samento, Banderol, Quina, Cumanda, ect. The detox stuff (Burbur, Pinella, Parsley) are okay at full dosage on day 1. I hope it works well for you. Take care, Rich (skiweasel7) > > > > > > How long can you safely take Samento and Banderol for without taking a break from it? Guest guest
I'm excited, just got both of them in the mail and we've all started at one drop twice a day. How long before we would see/feel anything? Do people get rashes from this stuff? As in the herbs are killing off parasites etc. causing rashes? I think my son developed rashes from this a couple years ago, but also were using Diflucan at the same time. Although now that he's back on Diflucan we haven't seen those mystery rashes again. > > > > > > > > How long can you safely take Samento and Banderol for without taking a break from it? Guest guest
I have been taking 16 drops of Samento in the evening, not herxing since years ago when I started it. I took Banderol years ago, and didn't remember herxing. I just took it again a couple of days ago, and am herxing real bad. So, it appears that over the years, I have transformed spirochetes into round bodies, and the Banderol is now making me herx real bad, since it effects round bodies. All I can say is go very slow and remember that herxing may show up in a delayed manner, as in days after you start it. Also, have a lot ready in case of bad die-off. My die-off is headache, light sensitivity, dizziness, off-balance, vomiting, poor concentration, fatigue. These use to be my normal symptoms before starting treatments 4 years ago. So, I am absolutely positive it's from die-off and not a direct result from the treatment. I get these symptoms often when I herx from several different products. My other family members get different herxing symptoms, so be aware that each herxes a little differently. Sometimes I get rashes on my face that look like eczema. Another family member on rare occasions gets eczema on his hands. The rest do not appear to get any detox rashes. Guest guest
Since Banderol and Samento contain alcohol, they used alcohol in the same strength and amount in testing to discern what the difference would be between the herbal mixture, which has alcohol in it, and just only alcohol. This way they can tell what difference that only the herb is making. I think we will need to contact the author to figure out what her dilution ratio pertains to. Sometimes these things are detailed in the research and sometimes they are not. Since in-vivo is very different than in-vitro, we will have to experiment with different doses and such to learn what works in-vivo. I am doing Samento and Banderol now, so will share.
