Great TGIF - sometimes the ones who might seem ill-equipped to handle an

emergency react the most calm during such incidents. I might not have

thought to give her both (should i have had a nitro pill) since she had

already taken the aspirin.

I am glad she is feeling better - what is the long term prognosis? Will

the stent suffice? Not too familiar with heart conditions.

They told me she should be just fine. There is a 18%

chance the stent will fail, in which case they would

attempt it again or do bypass. Otherwise, all the

damage that had been done to half of her heart

reversed itself miraculously while they were watching

her. She is to rest for 7 days and then resume normal activities.
