Guest guest
I am like 6 weeks post and I can eat beef..I was cooking a roast a few days ago and I tasted it to taste the seasoning..I was then going to serve my family then eat something else. Well I got busy chewing and trying to get dinner together ( forgetfulness again! LOL) Anyway, I swallowed it...it didn't hurt or even bother me so since it was dinner time I had a few more bites. About an oz in all. Last night I had some sloppy joe, no bun and yesterday I split special nachos at a mex rest with my kids. I had one chip topped with melted white cheese sauce and taco beef. I was a huge red meat eater before SX..all I ate was cheese, eggs, chicken, and beef and tuna because of my PCOS..any sugar or carbs made me balloon and feel comatose. I wonder if eating so much meat before SX ( the year before) makes me better be able to handle it now? I am really having no trouble with anything but mozzerella cheese.(DO NOT eat sweets nor will I..I mean trouble with healthy foods) I feel blessed! I have also tried small amounts of shredded lettuce and did well too. Guest guest
Fish is one of the better tolerated of the " meats " for me. Most seafood actually.
