Guest guest Posted December 29, 2001 Report Share Posted December 29, 2001 (Dallas Morning News 12-28-2001) s, a 10-year veteran of the Coppell Police Department, died Friday after his motorcycle collided with a Ford Explorer near the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport. Police said they believe Officer s, 45, may have been making a traffic stop on a second vehicle when the accident occurred about 9 a.m. on Bethel Road, west of Royal Lane in Coppell. Officer s was taken by helicopter to Methodist Medical Center in Dallas and CPR was performed at the scene. He died about an hour later. Police said Officer s had a video camera mounted on his motorcycle which they hope will shed light on how the accident occurred. The Ford Explorer's front left tire blew out and other damage was sustained on its driver's door. Police have not released the name of the ville man who was driving the Ford Explorer. The driver, the car's only occupant, was taken to Baylor Medical Center at Grapevine, with non-lifethreatening injuries. Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
