Guest guest
Iam going to adopt a cat tomorrow from the local animal services. Today I was over there and fell for this little grey kitten. She was about 4 months old. Very affectionate, I think she is part siamese. She has the typical siamese meow. The most beautiful eyes. They are a deep golden color. She just loves having her tummy rubbed and just giving kitty kisses on your hands and cheek. A garden center brought her in. She is so clean, its obvious someone loved this cat and took good care of her while they had her. This cat is going to be spoiled. ) Andi

You will have to report from time to time as the kitten adjusts to its new home. We don't have pets in our household but have ready access to farms/homes that have cats, dogs, cows & pigs (yes cows and pigs) and my kids throughly enjoy the time spent down on the farm. Its therepeutic to us and the animals enjoy the affection. Iowa Mike __________________________________________________
Guest guest
-- Andi good for you, cats give unconditional love and attention and they are very independent , seems like a match (wanted to put, made in heaven, but am being sensitive). See I am learning . Get one of those small pen (pointer) lights and keep the kitty active, I also find the plastic rings that snap off milk jugs fascinate them. Happy me for you. )) Dee in Peoria PS. thanks for explanation of Phil's infection.

Guest guest
Andi, that's great. Animals are a wonderful comfort. My husband has battled cancer and heart surgery, and he feels that our little dogs got him through it. They are his buddies and follow him around constantly. He complains about it sometimes, but he wouldn't have it any other way. Love & Prayers, Ginger Today is a Gift www.TheHandcraft.com
Guest guest
Hey, you finally took my advice -- I always give perfect advice, you know. Cough, cough. She sounds a bit like your late kitty --- perhaps that's why you were drawn to her. I'm glad you have a wonderful new friend coming into your life. Mc Farland is hunkered down on my desk at this moment.....he's says to send pictures. Guest guest
Andi, I am so glad you are adpoting a kitten. She will give you so much comfort and company. Did Diane ever replace ? I know she cared so much about him. I never knew how much enjoyment you could have with an animal until we got our kittys. Spunky is truly Phil's guardian Angel. She watches over him contstantly and gets real upset if Fancy tries to come by her Daddy. Fancy is my little angel who right now is paying way to much attention to Phil to suit me. Don't know if finds Spunky's strong attraction to him or if she just wants to aggreviate Spunky, or me for that matter. What can I say everyone loves Phil. I'll tell you, when I pick up that little piece of fluff, my heart melts and my problems vanish. This will be good for you. She mentioned last time that her life was getting back to normal, but she has been pretty much spending time alone. She is also in quite a bit of pain from her lupus and PSC. Yes I cant wait to adopt the cat. I have to wait the mandatory 5 days (California law) because she was turned in as a stray. The 5 days gives the owners a chance to reclaim her. I would love to get her out of there as soon as possible. There seems to be a lot of Feline upper respiratory going around and they are euthanizing cats every two days to stop the spread of it. If I could, beleive me I would vaccinate her myself with a 3 way. They had a lot of other cats there as well. Many were family pets. I could see the fear in eyes. I think when an animal spends its life in in an indoor home they are just traumatized by the noise and smells in an animal shelter environment.
