This is a little off track, but I thought y'all would

get a kick out of it:

This lady called me from a payphone on the north side

one day. Her and her boyfriend were having a fight.

She sounded black, but I try to never make

assumptions, so, when getting his description, I asked

her " Is he white, black, hispanic...? " She said,

" Honey, this is the north side and everyone on the

north side is black! " I thought to myself " I live on

the north side, and I'm not black. " But, I didn't say

anything, just held in my laughter and went on to the

next question.
