I guess because everyone would expect a yellow banana, and I thought

an unripe banana would be neat. And I already have a yellow

butterfly on my arm. I don't like yellow, and don't want too much of

it on me. And I am gonna cover both. The banana was just a joke

that I planned on covering up anyway.

I love it!!!!!

A friend of mine and I have started a new tradition this year of going on a "girl's getaway"... a la "Thelma & Louise"... except without the raping, murdering and going over cliffs... anyway, we are going to get small tatoos to commerate our trips.

Can you believe I'm this insane at 47?

i'm 56 and i got my first tattoo in 98 and then the other 3 just this past fall. now THAT'S insane!!!!

My dh hates tatoos (but his opinion wouldn't stop me if I really wanted to do it and he knows that) however, I have enough pain. don't want no one poking me with needles! UUUUGGGGHHHH OOOOWWWWWIIIIIEEEEE

Well, something you wouldn't know about me unless I told you is.....I used to do backup singing with one of the lead singers from Tower of Power. Boy that dates me huh? Most of you won't know this band but it was a big one years and years ago. Had a great time. Used to do a lot of singing a long time ago. I used to teach beginning guitar and voice at a music school for underprivaldged kids. We had some popular names teaching there then. This was in the late 60's. My other life....
