Guest guest
I totally agree! Especially if you have surgery or and injury. That really causes it to flare up. I just think that autoimmune diseases are so related to each other. Sometimes I wonder if we don't have several things going on some of which go untreated. Guest guest
Hi friends, I don't know if FM is progressive. I kind of think it is. My flares are more intense than when I was first diagnosed. I was diagnosed in 96, but had been having the symptoms for many years before that. Since the FM generally attacks me in the lumbar, hips, and legs it is always hard for me to tell the difference between the fibro and my spinal disease. It takes me a day or two to tell. Also, I think the longer we have fibro we find different ways to deal with it. Hopefully better ways to deal with it. I know for me I'm more gentle with myself. I used to push through the pain and fatigue and of course that always made it worse. Just my thoughts. Kathleen in NC
