Guest guest
For the thy/adr issue alone, book and website Stop the Thyroid Madness have been turning lives around down here, at least for adults, if they have a sympathetic doc. There is also a new thy-adr book out, recently featured on the ProHealth website just last week, highlighting new test guides and interpretations. ProHealth has a four-product best-priced clinically tested protocol for CFIDS/Lyme people based on Dr. 's book and protocol, based in turn on Dr. AY's Nutrigenomic profile work. It produced positive results for 86% of all that were on it for nine months. For me, thy/adr imbal. blocked proper elim. of daily or environmental toxins and kept pharma meds from working; all kinds of things were blocked. Have found that toxins of all kinds keep overall immune and metabolic functions very low, and that C IVs work wonders if not overdone over six months to a year. Unusual or new symptoms can be expected as one layer clears or drains out, and the multilayered energetic/body ecology presents somethings new; it is best to go slow and not introduce many changes quickly, IME.To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Sent: Sat, October 1, 2011 6:15:07 PMSubject: questions re: valtrex and diflucan Hello- Im hoping to get some input from those of you that have tried the above meds. My son is sup to start on them this weekend and only the valtrex is in so Im hoping it is ok to start that one alone and then add the diflucan when it comes in on Monday. Ive heard that you usually take the valtrex for a longer period of time so I imagine it is alright to do this but I cant check in with our LLND to be sure since it is the weekend. They are allowing him to take these along with ketotifen which he has been taking for nearly a yr and Im wondering if that could be a bit too much for his liver. Im also concerned about what to expect as he just started Junior High and has all regular classes so I want to be sure there wont be any major reactions or side effects. I should have spent more time questioning our LLND but didnt have a chance. If anyone can tell me their child's experience with these medicines I would really appreciate it. Also, should I have liver and kidney funchtion checked every couple of wks. My son has sensory integration issues but not autism; however, now that we have uncovered some virus' etc, the LLND says his "immune system is starting to act autistic." He has been falling asleep a lot during the day suddenly out of the blue for mos (since completing the 6 wk parasite protocol and seems to have developed an imbalance between his thyriod and adrenals. Guest guest
Great -thanks for the info! Ive looked at the Thyroid madness site before but will again. Also- I couldnt find the book you mentioned. Do you happen to know the title? Im concerned about starting those meds as well. Good idea about C IVs too. I will look into that. Im still hoping to hear from parents that have experiences w these meds before we decide whether to start but I feel I must make a decision very soon..
