I had to switch Dr.s today and I got the ultra jerk! Today he told me that Fibromyalgia is non- xistent. He said it is just in people's heads. He talked to me like I was some sort of idiot. Said he would not give pain meds for this. It was like reliving the medical nightmares of my past. He said that everyone has pain but people who think they have Fibro just have wrong perceptions. This guy was a complete nightmare. I told him I have even had a positive ANA and he said so ... so 20% of the population would what makes you so special. I told him I have a rehab dr and a neurologist and he said well then just let them deal with you. Okay... I just have to vent. This guy made me feel totally bad about myself. Guest guest Posted December 30, 2004 Report Share Posted December 30, 2004 Hi Kate, If you have to stay with that bozo doctor I would print up some of the recent things that they have found about Fibromyalgia. I saw one study that shows a brain scan and our's is totally different from a normal person. That's medically proven and he couldn't deny that one.
