The restroom discussion started with Joan's message about being hurt about

testing in public.....do you think it is a good follow-up of that message or

do you think it is a digression that insults the original topic?

Given that my son has to inject in the bathroom sometimes do you think it is

necessary to have 5 or more messages on how unsanitary they are???

Just expressing my opinion...many of the posts lately are off topic and I

delete them without opening them.

Write what you want....I just find it a little silly and somewhat annoying

that is repeated over and over.

n,

Facts are facts. I'm sure we're all sorry for them when they're not pleasant.

Isn't it better to have those facts so that you can go well prepared into

situations? There are some wonderful sanitizing wipes on the market these days.

Some people on this list aren't as well informed as you are, and may have gotten

a great deal of information from this thread.

Why should it be that one person not liking a thread brings an end to it? You

said it yourself - we all have the ability to delete posts that we don't like or

those that do not interest us.

Thank you. I shall. I also have found other topics to have been repeated

multiple times, and have deleted them. I have not, however, found it necessary

to complain about it.

With so many people on this list, there will be many times when things get

repetitious. I find many of the posts about the various ways of eating to be

repititious, silly and annoying, but with the wide range of people on the list,

it's just going tto be that way sometimes.

I second Teri. When I was younger, I was healthy and sturdy; now, I catch

everything ... colds, flu, pneumonia. I'm pretty sure my immune system is

compromised by the diabetes. I refuse to use " public pens " and I'm very wary

in public restrooms. I think discussing these issues is central to our

diabetes care.

Please delete any message you don't like. Don't dwell on unpleasant things

and let them upset you ... tension is hard on us diabetics! And if there's a

person in the group that just sets you off, again I ask that you ignore that

person and skip past their posts and don't let them get to you. But when a

person " threatens to delete " posts that don't sit well with them, it feels a

bit like intimidation. Just do it ... you don't have to tell the rest of us.

Just take from the group any knowledge you find, and contribute what you

can - and don't take in any negativity.

Gee n.... is this really necessary?

I dont think you need to unsubscribe.... and i dont think that you need to

send this to the group to get folk to react to it.... I think that you add a

lot to the group and that you get some info and support from the group as

well.... what happens to take what you want, and leave the rest?

I for one have gotten a lot out of your posts.... and i'd hate to see you

leave....

Hi Susie,

Marvelous advice, I bet you have calmed many a flame war :)
