Guest guest
when in doubt, throw it out.... To the List! that is!!! I'm curious if anybody out there has standard operating procedures in effect that deals w/hostage and/or barricaded subjs - our dept just came out with what they feel is a super dee-duper policy and there was no input from our comm supervisor or the dispatchers that are trained in hostage negotiations for dispatch - I am wondering if any agencies out there that are into the whole " keep dispatch involved " theory and if they have a policy that shows this!!! I'm not knocking our new procedure - I just see some things in it that weren't thought through as thouroughly as they should have been and am curious about other agencies - If your policies are on line or you would like to email off list just let me know - I appreciate any info you all have to offer - I respect the wealth of information singularly and collectively from you all!! Thank you and hope your nights/days are Q* & ^%(* - (I'm not going to say it in case I jinx it!!)
