Hi everyone. I just wanted to give you a few headlines and ideas regarding

the wonderful 911 cares project that many of you have participated in. I also

have an idea on how you can help 911 cares during your Thanksgiving weekend!

-I can't explain all the wonderful things that we have recieved at our " 911

cares, transfer station " . Teddy bears from Texas, Plaques from Nebraska,

Posters from Washington, Oregon and Ohio are just a few of the things. Poems

from you and your kids, artwork from numerous classes and pocket stress kits

are all part of the over 500 pounds of things that we have FedEx'd and

mailed. (kinda weird to have the fed ex gal look forward to my visit, she

helps in packing and clearing the way for quick delivery)

- We have sold or gifted over 1,000 911 cares pins between recent classes,

mail orders and phone orders. WOW is all I can say! Many comm center

supervisors have purchased them for every member of their center! These

include pins we have sent for free to each affected center.

-Thanksgiving - It's hard to balance the thanks we should all have Thursday

and the fact that so many chairs will go un-filled at dinner tables across

America. So, are you all having family over? Hate it when the kids run

through your kitchen? Give em a stack of paper and a box of crayons - have

them write letters of thanks to the 911 champions! Send em our way and you

know what we do.

For details that have just joined this group(s) on 911 cares, our address and

anything else, just visit www.pstc911.com and you'll be on your way to making

a huge difference to our profession!

Thank you all so much

and the entire PSTC family
