Guest guest
Jillian, my 2 oldest girls are 21 months apart, and it has great for us. No we weren't trying either, but you know " manure happens " . Enjoy your time with Sasha and she will be at a great age to help with getting diapers, making silly faces, etc. You'll be fine. CONGRATS!!!!! Dustie > Well since we all only know each other " online " , I thought it > appropriate to tell you all Bruce and I just found out on Monday > that we are expecting our 2nd baby! EEeek. Guest guest
Jillian - I so know where you are coming from! I had my first son in March 2002 ab=nd found out I was pregnant in August of 2002 and Xavier was born on April 1 2003 so my boys are 12 months and 2 weeks apart! When Xavier first came home it was very tiering getting up with a newborn all nigth and then a toddler at 7 am but now that Xavier is 6 months old things are startingt o calm down a bit, though some days are still hectic. I am very lucky that both of my kids are pretty good. I am just now getting brave enought to go anywhere with both of them - its not easy with an 18 and a 6 month old! There is never a dull moment around here though -lol! Congrats!!! Guest guest
Congratulations Jillian! How exciting. I have 6 kids they're aren't as close in age as yours will be, but I just wanted to tell you not to worry. Things have a way of just falling into place. > Well since we all only know each other " online " , I thought it > appropriate to tell you all Bruce and I just found out on Monday > that we are expecting our 2nd baby! Guest guest
Jillian--I only have one child, but wanted to let you know that one of my good friends was 14 mos younger than her brother and they had such a good relationship growing up that she immediately started trying for her second 6 weeks after her first was born--even after a terribly difficult pregnancy and delivery. Congratulations!! Guest guest
Jillian, Congratulations! I'm not able to post much on this list, but I knew that I had to respond to your post! When my oldest was 4 years old, I gave birth to our 4 child. Yep - I had 4 children ages 4 and under. (Believe it or not, I also had 2 miscarriages in there too.) My 1st and 2nd are 13 months apart, and my 2nd and 3rd are 14 months apart. Don't worry - you will do great! I love that our children are so close in age. They are the best of friends!! For us, a schedule has been a life saver! It helps me make sure that my attention is being used the best way it can, and my children love it too. Let me know any questions that you might have!! Guest guest
Jillian, My two children are 16.5 months apart, and only because Devin was two weeks late!! Devin wasn't planned either, I was still breastfeeding Reina. I can tell you that at first it is a bit difficult but it does get easier. It would be a lot easier still if I wasn't in Germany and my husband wasn't in Iraq. I didn't know how I was going to go grocery shopping by myself at first, but when you have no choice you just get up and go. I've been out and about with the two of them since Devin was just a few weeks old and its not as hard as it seems. You'll get the hang of it. I love having them this close, now. They're actually learning to play with each other it is so cute! My friend in my playgroup has a girl that turned 2 in may, her son turns 1 in october, and she's due with her 3rd in November. Its good that she's still young, and full of energy, lol!!! In the beginning I felt that my mission in life was only to change diapers!!! Reina was quite jealous of Devin in the beginning even though we did everything so she wouldn't feel that way. She's much better now about it and she loves to make him laugh!! I wouldn't change a thing. Of course, there are days that I just want to lock myself up in the bathroom and cry, but then they'll do something to make me smile or laugh. You'll do fine and have lots of fun along the way!!! Guest guest
Jillian Hello!! I just want to tell you that my boys are 16 months apart and it was fun having them that close! They are the best of friends, besides being brothers, everyone asks us if they are twins! My youngest, Korben(DOCband GRad 2-06-02) he is 2 1/2 yrs old and Marshall, is almost 4 and they are the same size. They wear the same size clothes and almost the same size shoes!! But its fun having them this close, the will always have a friend to play with and help the other one get into trouble!! Take care and good luck with #2!!
