Sad, isn't? And, for > us, it would be kind of spendy having tests done throughout the day. > Somebody here said they saw a post somewhere that indicated that a > lady's doctor did that for her - now that's a good doctor! > > Zina Yeah, it would be a bit costly, but it's already cost me a fortune just having to do things the way I have. It may have been cheaper, actually, to have it tested 4 times in one day from the same lab because the place (the FIRST place) I got my TSH, etc. labs from only charges $25 each time, so instead of $300 on labs, I may have only had to spend $100 on them. Oh well. It was a thought. lol Ella
Guest guest
That is pretty neat, Ella! Thanks for sharing. I played the flute, clarinet and the piano when I was in school. I haven't touched them since. I would like to get a piano again and take lesson. We live in a dinky apartment, so that will have to wait until we get a house . . . some day! Zina <<<Artistic stuff: Was in a Jr. High " honor band " in elementary school because I could play any instrument they gave me just about. Dance, dance, dance, web design, graphic design, and sketching. Here's my web site, but don't freak out..lol..this is how I looked about 5yrs ago BEFORE " the big crash, " and where I want to get to again. I do my own graphics and design for my web pages. www.jalilahsahar.com Ella Okay, so everybody post their talents and web sites!>>>

The music sheet he gave me meant nothing..might as well have been Greek (although I do understand some Greek..lol). He never knew. All I had to do was hear how it went once or twice and I was good to go. But I pretended to look a the sheet music so he wouldn't suspect me. Yep, reading music was one of my handicaps. lol I've always wanted to take piano lessons. Of course I couldn't fit a chair in this tiny apartment, much less a piano! So I understand!! Guest guest
Hi Ella, I have a friend like that too. She is hypo, even took Synthroid for a while, but stopped. She looks terrible, and I know she feels terrible. Her life is a wreck - her doc put her on Paxil for a while, and she thought everything was fixed! LOL She won't listen. I figure I've done all I can. My dad's wife is also hypo. She also was on Synthroid, but her doc said she was cured and didn't need to take it anymore. So, she is always cold, her hair is so thin, I'm wondering if it will all fall out, etc. But, will she listen to what I have to say? No. has never listened to advice I've given to her. She is too stubborn. Oh well. Its her loss, not mine. If these people want to waste the remainder of their lives being miserable just because they don't want to listen to a word I say, then that is their problem. Guest guest
I figured that..lol..I was just being silly. ) But hey, one never knows! Ella > No Ella, she lives here in Bozeman, Montana. Guest guest
Yes! It's weird, isn't it, how we don't WANT people to know we feel bad? I tried to hide it, too. Made excuses and did NOT want to talk about it for the longest time. Once I realized that I wasn't getting any better---and was getting worse, and once I realized that I may have a reason to feel this way (not all in my head)...I couldn't stop talking about it. I know I got whiney at times, but I just never thought a person could feel that bad without dying of something. Ella So I tried to hide > it whenever I could but not having time to do the things others > wanted to do, etc. Now I wish I could get people in my past to read > the home page of this site!! > > Janie
Guest guest
I really think they should revise the dictionary to reflect the correct term for " normal. " It would read... " indefinable. " Ella > Oh, and by the way, the above was when I was " optimally " treated > with Synthroid, and had a " normal " TSH. grrrrrrrrrrr > > Janie

Guest guest
The other thing I forgot to look at is that I'm eating some nuts and seeds now and some flaxseed oil. Maybe I'm just not getting hungry because I've added some fat to my diet. Not sure. I keep learning new things about my body. Zina > Hi Ella, > > I feel kind of dumb, but I actually did get a grumble in my tummy > this weekend when I got really busy and forgot to eat. I eat on a > regular basis - a schedule and I just don't let myself get so hungry > that my tummy rumbles. Silly me.
