Guest guest
I have tried many, and well, they all work a little. Most use a lot of them. The book, Healing Lyme by Buhner, is good. If you Google, " Lee Cowden Lyme " you will learn even more. And then " Klinghardt Lyme " to learn more. Those guys are the most popular alternative healers in the Lyme arena. (note: I am only giving names to reference their work.) A local naturopath or herbalist or homeopath might also be a lot of help. The herbs and such used in the autism arena, either have affects towards ridding tickborne infections or boost the immune system to assist the body to fight off tickborne infections. I can not say there are magical ones. But, I will say, treat inflammation and digestion and liver, because that seems to be why certain children are stockpiling the pathogens and toxins versus the ones who are not. Guest guest
Pramila, Omnicef is a relatively a stronger antibiotic. May be tummy pain. That's what my son had and he literally communicated that. Sasmita > > Hi > Is anyone in this group using Omnicef? I am trying Omnicef transdermally. It causes my son to > cry spontaneously as if he is in pain, it doesnt look purely emotional but could be. Normally he is not a kid who cries...at all! > > anyone seen a side effect like this? I cannot be 100% sure, but I am worried about another possibility: he is a VERY oral herpes kid and I am worried some day he will get shingles. > I dont know if this crying is due to shingles pain. > > He can tell me if he has localized pain, but anything widespread/joint pain etc he would not be able to articulate. > > I dont know if he is getting joint pain from the Omnicef addressing something... > > Any ideas? Guest guest
Heidi, That book is wonderful, thanks for recommending it. I have taken a moment to look at what we're doing to support detox before I decide on a " killer. " The Healing Lyme book mentions smilax - it sounds like a great one. Have you used that? Or anyone else used Smilax? Thanks, Bethany > > > > Dear group, > > > > We may have gotten ourselves into a bit of a pickle. Guest guest
Yes, I did. I never got die-off from it, but what I did get was what appeared to be a bunch of red liver flukes in the toilet, floating - gross! Anyhow, it's suppose to be good for ridding liver flukes, and supposedly, a significant percentage of the population has liver flukes. Come to think about it, I need to take some more to see if I got some back. Love and prayers, Heidi N Heidi, That book is wonderful, thanks for recommending it. Guest guest
Wow, so that's one of the ways it supports the liver! I'll have to watch for that. Thanks. My child is having a big improvement in eye contact the past few days, but he's actually way worse when it comes to responding to his name or getting his attention in any way, unless it was his idea. I'm hoping this is one of those simultaneous regression/progression things. We quit our omnicef and started cat's claw today, so I'm crossing my fingers... > > Yes, I did.
