Guest guest
Hi Barb, How about these doctors in land? Shomon has a top doc list, and these are the ones she lists. http://www.thyroid-info.com/topdrs/maryland.htm Yep, I'm not too keen on the medical community either. I felt pretty fortunate that my PA let me use Armour. She doesn't like having my TSH so low, though. I had to fight her to let me stay on 1 grain; I upped my dose myself to 1 1/2 grains, because I simply was not feeling well on 1 grain. So, I'm not sure what to do at this point. I know I will eventually have to have some blood work done so I can have my prescription renewed. I know my PA will not let me stay on 1 1/2 grains even if I tell her I feel good and am most definately NOT hyper. So, what does a person do then? I want to try this naturopathic doctor, but just don't have the funds right now. I don't need to worry about it right now. But, eventually I'll have to do something. I also want to see what my adrenals and sex hormones look like. I feel good, but I'm always wondering if I could feel better. Anyway, I know your frustration. Maybe there is a doctor on 's top doc list that will be good for you. I hope so. Let us know. He gave me a few hugs, too, because I started crying about how miserable I felt. He uses Great Smokey labs to test female hormones and cortisol levels!
