Our LLMD is under attack, he is the only LLMD in Iowa and one of few (if not the only one) in Illinois. The Chigago Tribune printed the attached story a few days ago smearing him. I will admit he did have some issues before he became an LLMD. He was a surgeon and he had some issues because......... HE HAS LYME DISEASE! He was very sick and couldn't figure out what was wrong with him, then when he discovered he has Lyme and other co-infections he studied under the ILADS training and started treating Lyme. He is a great man and we owe all of our families recovery to him. He is avaliable to his paitents 24/7, answers his cell phone on the weekends, and it just an overall great person. He has asked me to get as many people as possible to flood the Tribune with pro-Lyme letters. Our Iowa support group is sending e-mails all day long, but the more support we can get the better. I'm sure many of you don't know this man, but if you could write a short e-mail to the editor either telling your Lyme story or just educating them about Lyme and co-infections.
