Guest guest
QD - I can't thank you enough for sharing what you know has helped your son. I am totally overwhelmed right now and while I am trying to understand the next course of action I am dealing with more attacks that are now daily. My son is VERY reactive to supps added-reduced stopped- that is why I am careful with what I try. He is already taking about 40+ pills a day. If there is one thing I should try ASAP do you think it would be LDN? I heard it was good but some herx with it. I need something immediate as I see my son going downhill. He always has his eyes closed and hands over his head. Headaches? He rages over nothing. I got an appt with his Naturopath acupuncturist this Saturday. She will do acupuncture for his pain and adrenal overload. I suggested we start him on ASAP Colloidal Silver for viruses and parasites. What do you think? For binders I tried grapefruit pectin. Also have Sonne E #7 bentonite clay. I also bought Zeolite but have not tried. I am not using any right now on doc's orders. a suggested high Zinc as per Dr McCandless and KPU protocol. Also high magnesium and biotin. Stopped Vit C as per due to endogenous oxalates. ly I am so confused.Inflammacore has corn and son sensitive. Today I gave more Motrin 600mg. His LLMD wants me to give son Ketamine syrup for breakthrough pains. It is a form of sedative widely used in the 70s. A listmember said it causes psychosis so I did not give. Scared to just drop zinc as my son would react horribly. Instead of mag citrate I should use mag chloride topical? Sorry I am all over the place with questions. Very uneasy watching son right now. God bless our children! Dear Fransel:I wanted to try and respond to your post again as perhaps there was a miscommunication regarding our last exchange about . I do truly recommend you contact Dr. JS in Naples, FL. www.personalconsult.com. He has an MD in psychiatry but is also a tick borne illness specialist. right now, you need both professionals. I am not a big supporter of pharma but there is absolutely a time and a place for it. in the case of violence in an individual with autism, this must be addressed. especially if that individual is an adult male. No one at any time should have to be made to feel threatened by the violent outbursts of an adult with autism and feel they for some reason they must remain " au naturale " . Fransel this is what I was trying to convey without being presumptuous. There is a time and a place for that kind of help and i believe you have come to that point. Dr. JS really knows that turf well. You can do an initial phone consult and share 's struggles with him at that time. Expensive? Very. Keep the consult to just 15 min or so. He absolutely responds to emails and you can converse that way and try and get your questions answered without any initial investment. Fransel Dr. Rimland used to say, a parent should NEVER have to feel afraid of their child. He absolutely supported getting help when needed. Because 's rages are most likely Lyme and Viral in origin, and of course oxalates being one of the downstream effects from those infections, they too must be addressed. I say this with caution....you need to find another doctor. My feeling is he doesn't fully understand what is dealing with. The many layers. He isn't going fast enough and the zinc is a huge mistake right now. Almost all children with autism are viral. But some can genetically process viruses better than other. Others are up to their eyebrows in viruses and find it more difficult to get rid of them due to genetics, etc. Fransel too: if autism and lyme and co infections are part of your picture, MOLD is too. It's that simple. Mold unveils the lyme. The two are almost never found separately. They are inextricably linked. The eye/ear sensitivity is the classic photophobia and hyperacusis of tick borne illness and MOLD. That is always the challenge with these two...is it mold? is it lyme? The cuticle picking, etc. This is what I meant when I said you have a full plate and need proper guidance. I meant no disrespect. There is no way on earth you can figure this out on your own or with a ho hum doctor. You need aggressive help right now. I would stop the zinc for now. This is why i have mentioned that the Zinc feeds the Herpes Family of viruses and others. That family has 25 members. MANY are hugely problematic in chronically ill people. The violent oubursts are unacceptable and a danger to you. If your doctor is trying to heal 's gut and is giving him ORAL Mg, this may not be the best route. Try to get Mg Chloride for now and apply it transdermally. My son had SEVERE photophobia and hyperacusis and moderate to severe sound sensitivity. Once we addressed his mold exposures and got his viral load down, they melted away. When doctors are going after these things with the big gun abx they often miss the point many others have struggled to make. Is lyme the cause. What is the ACTUAL cause of this manifestation? For us, it was not lyme (although he has lyme, CDC positive) as we have never treated lyme. Not yet anyway. Fransel here are some very gentle and easy antivirals to try. LAURICIDIN from coconut. God send. VIRACIN from Intensive Nutrition (caution contains TANNINS and it may be high oxalate. ALSO contains casein protein. This supplement gave my son his life back. It is antiviral. Antifungal. HUGE challenges for my son. They also carry TANALBIT which does not contain casein but still contains tannins and my guess is that it is high oxalate. i am still waiting to hear from them on this. SELENIUM: prevents viral replicationLYSINE: prevents viral replication, etc. Oregano Oil: caution, i believe this is oxalate illegalLDM 100: By Barlow Herbs. this is napalm to viruses and you must go slow as molasses. As in one drop at a time for weeks or week by week working up. there is much on the internet about LDM 100. Much support. It has been a God send to the autism community. Can't stress enough importance of going slow. LDM 100 can be very dangerous for those who are very viral. Stir up too much too fast and you can land in the ER. This is very rare and for those going low and slow they do very very well with phenomenal gains. Killing off viruses is NOT the same as killing off bacteria/fungi, etc. There does not seem to be the massive die off and or herx associated with viral kills. but there are often mammoth metals dumps. Caution. Get your binders on board. Fransel you did not list a binder. Is taking a binder?Cholestyramine. Green Bentonite Clay. Modifilan. Etc. This would be very helpful to him. Please look into Low Dose Naltrexone for . He is dealing with major major inflammation as evidenced by his photophobia, etc. The photophobia is just one of the canaries in the coalmine. telling us there is inflammation taht MUST be addressed. For some it works miracles. For others there may not be fireworks but it does assist overall. When we see photophobia we know brain inflammation is a critical issue. Whenever there is photophobia, headaches are often right there in the mix as well. There are many many things you can do to get his inflammation down and Cowden's Nutramedix Protocol is a good place to look for options. Inflammacord is also good. needs more aggressive care Fransel and I pray you never feel guilt or anything similar for reaching for help in the form of a pharma drug to try and control 's rages. Your own personal safety should never be sacrificed. As parents we are often lead to believe the opposite in the name of holistic healing. Once a person is in physical danger, that is when to ask for help if it cannot be managed any other way. I hope you are able to call Dr. JS. I know he will shed some light on 's struggles. There are numerous labs which can be done which will shed light on 's viral and microbial load and what level of inflammation he is dealing with based on tried and true inflammation markers. personalcargo listed some of these labs. TGF Beta 1, TNFa etc. There needs to be PDF or similar in the File Section of this forum with a list of these labs. Take care Fransel. Sending you good thoughts.
