My son has cat's claw that would not heal as he keeps on picking on it. He does that even with regular wounds. Any ideas? He also likes to bite his cuticles until they bleed. What could be causing this?FranselSent from my iPad
Guest guest
I agree....strep OCD. He must be experiencing a great deal of anxiety too. Do you see any changes from the new treatment he is receiving? Is he starting to calm down a little? I hope so...IsaEnviado desde mi oficina móvil BlackBerry® de TelcelFrom: klwadler@...Sender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2011 09:38:45 -0400 (EDT)To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Son Peeling Off Scabs STREP - OCD From: franselw@...Reply-to: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism CC: Trying_Low_Oxalates Sent: 6/5/2011 3:49:45 A.M. Guest guest
Fransel, Our son picks too. We do not know why. Some say yeast, some say parasites, some say nerves... What we do to prevent bleeding is to tape his hands with paper tape from the first aid section at the drug store. You can put this over a scab but nit an open wound. Use gauze if you have an open wound and then paper tape. It takes a long time to pick through. Also, LDM 100 diluted and applied to skin helps to heal faster. Hope this helps! > > Hello > Does anyone know why my child keeps on peeling off newly forming scabs keeping his wounds from healing? Guest guest
My children have done this. It's best to stop it as soon as possible or it will be more of a habit and more difficult to break. I put band-aides on my kids to cover up the sores, and clothing. I would even put ace bandages over their sores if it took that. As long as they were covered, they stopped it. Love and prayers, Heidi N Hello Does anyone know why my child keeps on peeling off newly forming scabs keeping his wounds from healing? Guest guest
Yikes strep? His DNase did not show it. Zyto testing did not show and EAV by acupuncturist did not show either. No one I'd treating my son for strep. Maybe if I mention the incident it would open their eyes. Thank you.My son crashed himself 3x in the trampoline today. After 10 min he got up said crash and ouch and carried on like nothing happened. I suspected yeast die off from S Boulardii but he has been taking for a week now and there were ok days. We did started MB12 with NAC and Folinic again last night after stopping for 3 months. Maybe they too.It is not easy going thru these supplements when an adult with aggression and non verbal.FranselFrom: klwadler@...Sender: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Date: Sun, 5 Jun 2011 09:38:45 -0400 (EDT)To: <BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism >ReplyTo: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism Subject: Re: Son Peeling Off Scabs STREP - OCD From: franselw@...Reply-to: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism To: BorreliaMultipleInfectionsAndAutism CC: Trying_Low_Oxalates Sent: 6/5/2011 3:49:45 A.M. Guest guest
, I think you're the one who mentioned previously that you use LDM 100 for skin issues, so thank you very much. my daughter is also a picker and I thought she was going to give herself a pierced ear picking on a scab on her earlobe. I put a couple of drops in a little water and put it on her ear and a scab on her foot and after several weeks of trying to get them to heal they are both healing after a few days.
