Guest guest
I wanted to let everyone know that I have published a book, High Functioning Autism: Advice From A Mom, From Diagnosis To Recovery. It is not a Lyme book, but an advice book for autism parents of mainstreamed children newly diagnosed or at a crossroads. The Table Of Contents will give you a better idea of what's included. It is very detailed so busy parents can easily look up something they are working on. http://hiddenrecovery.blogspot.com/2011/05/click-button-below-to-order-book.html Topics covered are: How to manage your biomedical program, select a school program, find good therapists and docs, start an ABA program, how to get therapy funded, and tips for managing your overall therapy program. Theory of Mind, Executive Functioning, and Abstract thinking is explained. Social skills activities we did at home with Leo are shared. Us moms have each other. So many moms have helped me, and now this is my way to " pay it forward " . My son is almost 13, so we have passed through many milestones and phases of development. We look forward to more and more as he continues to grow. Here's to summer!
