Guest guest
Olga Are you avoiding casein? The butter you mention is from what? We give my son clarified butter - Ghee. eats chicken but no eggs as he was IGG +3 reactive for several years. He is no longer reactive to eggs in his test last year. Should I get organic meats that are not too lean? Isn't avocado rich in good oils? I read an article from Dr. Forrest health where he mentions that low cholesterol is the cause for violent and aggressive behaviour, suicide and unintended injury in people.I know that kids with autism lack cholesterol and that why it is important to either supplement it or give as much natural foods that contain the good cholesterol like raw organic butter, eggs, chicken and meat fat etc. as possibleI have noticed that since my 11 years old have been having raw organic butter he is better in lots of areas and have also put weight on, he loves to put butter in all his foods. I think it will be worthwhile to check.Olga> >> > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla. Looking forward to receiving them. I avoided everything dairy for years with my son due to autism and then learned about the benefits of raw butter. When I ask my son's doctor, he amazed me by telling me butter is fine to use and has been all along, geee.....Long story short, my son has also done very well on raw organic butter. His cholesterol used to be low but now it is pretty high in his blood without any supplementation. His new doctor asked us a few times if we were supplementing but all we are doing is raw goat dairy and organic meats, not removing the fat.Yes, buy organic meats and make your own broths, etc but just don't remove the fat. Raw dairy such as the butter mentioned is also excellent. Other good fats are coconut oil, ghee like you mentioned and yes avocados are high in fat as well.Hope things are looking up,Eva> > >> > > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla. Guest guest
It is fine to disagree:) Everyone has different life experiences that lead to their own understand of things... and hopefully we all continue to learn from each other too. Many believe that processed dairy protein is different as the protein is changed by the high heat and homogenization. That is the idea behind raw milk being very different then what we pick up at the grocery store today. Just for your own knowledge... I have two children that are allergic to dairy, neither are on the spectrum, one is anaphylactic. All four of my children handle raw goat milk without any issue.... my two allergic kids and my child on the spectrum as well as the rest of us. I have met several families with the same experience though I would not recommend trying raw dairy if you are anaphylactic unless you haven't had a reaction for a bit and had a support staff around you.... like in the doctor's office. I would try raw dairy, especially butter, in a instant for an intolerance. Well, our DAN is the one who told us after my learning about the raw dairy, that butter was virtually casein free and would have been fine all along. I'm sure many DAN doctors disagree about certain things. Best wishes, Eva > > > > > > > > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla. Looking forward to receiving them. Guest guest
Fransel, I am sorry he had a bad incident. Unfortunately, in my experience with my son, it has taken a bit of time for the foods to build up in his system to show improvement. Hang in there. Has his cholesterol tested low? That would be good reason to load him up... but it will take time to get it up. Blessings, Eva > > > > > > > > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla. Looking forward to receiving them. Guest guest
My son has bad stress response rages for 7 years now, I tested both our cholsterol levels and his is 140 and mine is 135, so we are both taking sonic, but I am wondering if we are not processing fats to turn into cholesterol if we will process the sonic either? also I read that mycoplasma gobbles up cholesterol so wondering if people with low cholsterol might have mycoplasma infections (I know I have tested positive in the past) deborah > > > > > > > > > > Very kind of you to share your mom's recipes, Karla.
