Guest guest
I can't take Benadryl cause it runs my BP up. I take prescription Zyrtec. As for something over the counter try something with Chlorpheniramine in it. Chlortab is one of them. Hope you feel better. I used generic Benadryl last night (caplet form) to help me sleep. Here I went and used that, on top of the food no-no's I did. No wonder I felt like a zombie in pain when I got up this AM. - Dave Gates
Guest guest
HI Eunice, This is what I do. :-) I get the kids benadryl. The clear sugar free liquid. I then use only 1 teaspoon. That is for a 3 year old I think.LOL but that little bit helps me sleep and totally unblocks my nose. If I take an adult benadry tablet im so tired the next day that even my super coffee wont wake me. sussie -----Original Message----- From: ERWachter@... Guest guest
I am allergic to grass and trees. Benadryl may not make everyone's BP go up, it sends mine soaring. Guest guest
It may not run everyone's up. I know it does mine. Just watch your BP if you have problems with it and see if it does or doesn't. Guest guest
Eunice, my allergies are awful. My eyes are so swollen and weepy. Tylenol cold or sinutab work great for me. Try the non-drowsy fromula. But, you can never tell. One may put me to sleep, the other not. I think it is an individual thing. The pollen is so bad this year, because of the early very hot weather. I think it is around 85 here in NC and this is only May. What are we going to do in August?
