Guest guest
Sandy, You said it! Slow weight loss is best. I'm about to conclude that I don't " maintain " weight: I'm either gaining or losing. So if I can lose a pound a month for the next five years, I'll start to approach my ideal weight. Then I'll try and slow it down to like three pounds per year, not because such gradual weight loss is necessarily better but just to keep myself in " losing " rather than " gaining " mode, since I seem to have no " maintaining " mode. On the subject of tongue-in-cheek diet theories, do you know the Law of Constant Weight? Every pound you lose, someone else gains, such that if you could put everyone you know on a giant scale once a year, you'd all collectively weight just about the same. Your loss is my gain and visa versa. It sucks as a theory but it seems to operate in the real world. Max > Although my
> BGs are good, the weight is SO SLOW in coming off. At times I feel like
I'm making no progress whatsoever

Jacki,
Slow weight loss is best.... the longer it takes to come off, the longer
it will stay off. I feel the same, though, as I lost 15 lbs., and then it
took me a month to lose the next lb. Still, at this rate, I'll lose 12 lbs.
in a year :-)

Sandy
-- _______________________________________________ Download the free Opera browser at http://www.opera.com/ Free OperaMail at http://www.operamail.com/ Powered by Outblaze
