Guest guest
hi Eileen, I was in such a quandary - but have 'known' you a while now on cyberspace.....just didn't sound right....something didn't click. Also I seriously doubted you'd be asking me personally when you already knew my own 'plight' trying to get a vest. some 'people' are just too disgusting .... sorry it happened to you, guess it just makes us more aware and alert! THX EVERYONE for your beautiful wishes... it's been a week of back to back appts, a steroid inj which seemed to have gone wrong... having a 2nd opinion and will have op eventually. Have just sent off referral from my dr for the Vest and keeping up my hopes. Have hardly been able to walk, had to look for a wheelie-walker and St 's turned up 7.30am yesterday with one - and older variety, all steel, good and strong for " off-road " . Still hoping to get pain levels under some control but at least have percussion physio no. God, being this ill is a full-time job! hugs to all and thx for 'being with me, out there' joy
Guest guest
Hi Joy, sorry to hear that you are not well and I send you lots of good healthy wishes. As for the scam, I was tricked by a pishing site. some scamers made up an exact replica of the Yahoo sign in page and asked me to update my sign in I.D., and my password. Dummy me gave it to them and the rest is history. Now I have a sign in seal that I set up on my Yahoo account for extra security. If anyone has Yahoo, I advise you to think about it. No one else knows or can get into your private Sign In Seal and NEVER give out your Password to anyone.....I learned the hard way. Guest guest
Again, hello, Joy. I use a walker with a seat, often called a rollator. It mitigates lower back discomfort due to osteoporosis and is great for keeping me from falling. Yesterday I took a long walk (low humidity/coolish temp), and at various points in my travels I was able to rest (sit). Hooray for modern times and the benefits we can reap. D. Guest guest
Hey girl, so glad to hear your doctor saw the light regarding the Vest! Hope they act with speed to your request. Get plenty of rest. It must be exhausting dealing with your terrible hip pain and debility on top of the bronch. You are such a fighter. Hang in there, you have many friends out here loving you and pulling for you with all their hearts.
