Guest guest Posted October 20, 2011 Report Share Posted October 20, 2011 I am using ACT regarding being healthy - the value I am choosing to work on. ..... my particular goal - not to eat in the hours following my teaching .... my short term goal to not eat for an hour after school. The willingness is a way that allows me to stay with, welcome, and embrace the pain (in as diffused way as possible) is so important. This is very similar to the willingness that comes after acceptance. In this case it is the action that comes earlier in the process ... well before using values and goals.
