Maggie gets banded today

Maggie gets her band this morning and I have to keep telling myself

that it will be okay. I know that this will be easier than her

surgery, and if I can get through that I can get through anything.

Thanks so much to all of you that have given us your support and your

information. You've been GREAT!! I don't know what I would have

done without your help.

I was asked about her scar yesterday, and explained about her surgery

and that she'll be banded today. My husband said I should have given

some enstein-ish explaination for it, but I told him that it's

an opportunity to educate someone and maybe they'll be able to

educate someone else someday. He'll get there, I have faith in him.

I think it just hurts him so much when he feels someone is being

insensative about Maggie. He said that it's better that they ask

instead of just staring at her. Sometimes I think Daddy's more

protective than Mommy!!
