Guest guest
LOL!! You're right. If I have to be unhealthy I might as well shoot for quality. I'm going to try and be good. You ever try that vegetarian Chili? I think it by Hormel. You are hilarious. I have no idea what > I'm going to eat. Toaster struedel? > Ken Yeah, Ken. Have some toaster struedel. But, make sure you get the kind with the cream cheese in it.....then after that, get some Morton's honeybuns, heat them in the microwave and put butter on them. Then take your bg reading. lol Lynn -=DANG! Why'd I have to mention the honeybuns!=-
Guest guest
Thanks Lynn, Is this a murder attempt? :-) At the least I'd bust my meter. You know you're in trouble when you go to test your Blood Sugar and the needle sticks to you. :-) Ken > > You can't have brussel sprouts or broolli? Guest guest
Ken, our choices of foods and eating habits in general sound similar. Canned stew , chillie, etc do satisfy me but I end up with major acid problems. Because of my heart and kidney problems I'm not able to eat this kind of stuff anymore and have to stay as much as possible with freash or frozen food. Sometimes it's just a pain in the $%##$ to find something to eat. I'm on a low fat, low sodium, diabetic and kidney diet. I joke and tell friends and family that I can eat anything as long as it doesn't taste good......Lot's of salads , small amounts of meat, fish at least 4 times a week, small amounts of carbs, lots of vegies, (watch out how you cook them and my favoried " Spinich " is off the list as it's hard on the kidneys), no dairy products (dam - and I love cheese), and now the doctor tells me to watch my intake of Soda (crap, I'm addicted to Diet Pepsi---this is going to be fun). My girlfriend is thrilled about the new restriction on Soda as she is allways on my butt that I drink to much anyway. I've been watching the posts on the list about diet A & W Rootbeer- I'm going to have to ask my doctor about that!!!!!!!!! I used to eat for the pleasure of it, now I mostly eat because I need to.... It may not be as satisfying now but I'm 30 lbs lighter.

Guest guest
Nope, don't trust the beef in a can. Vegetarian chili I can add to. I said that I couldn't cook. I didn't say that I was mentally impaired (but I am). ;-) Ken > Chili in a can?
