Guest guest
I'm wanting to adopt my own angel...how does that happen here? I read about people having an angel. I was asked to give my details and it is kind of refreshing to share these things instead of keep it inside. I am 42 5'7 255 bmi right near 40 comorbidities include: arthritis in both knees is developing, plantar fasciitis mostly in right foot, 2 disk bulges from injury but impacted by weight, polycystic ovarian syndrome so high risk for diabetes and other " fun " things. I am trying to learn more about this surgery...for example, if I have a lap RNY with no complications, how many days should I expect to be out of work. I am a pharmaceutical sales rep and my job entails driving to dr offices, walk in with a light load when planned carefully and standing to talk with drs. I can't easily deal with being off work for 3-4 weeks but can prepare if needed. I am pretty jazzed that I have all 3 of my evaluations (surgical, psych and nutrition) all scheduled for the same day...Monday APRIL FOOLS DAY LOL I really like the office manager and what I have heard about this practice. I hope it doesn't take too long before we find out if I am a good candidate and if my insurance is going to cover the surgery.....don't you just love the wait and see? LOL other questions: is Biotin available OTC at a reg. drug store? I want to take it now since my family history involves women getting thin hair and I don't want that to happen if I can do anything to help alleviate that occurance. What percentage of people experience the dumping syndrome? I'm not afraid of it as it can be part of the tool to help change eating habits, I would think. If you could change anything about preparing for this surgery(besides not waiting so long to have the surgery) what would you change? I can hardly wait to get mail!!!
