Guest guest
Pin worms can look like tiny strands. I have used many things to kill worms, but the suckers just come back when we stop. It's crazy. I read that pin worm eggs can survive months and fly around in the air. Each worm lays like 160,000 of the tiny microscopic eggs that fly into the air with any movement, wind, etc. They fly around due to being so light, not that they actually fly with wings. Anyhow, if they are coming out, are you noticing any dead ones or just live ones? When they crawl out to lay eggs at night, they die. But, usually when I have killed them, you can see both dead and live ones in the stools. All kinds of things kill them, but keeping from reinfection is your problem. I have read lots of herbs kill them, but not really as well as the reports say. Thus, only a few herbs really kill them. Cabbage and carrots supposedly kill them. Carrots never effected ours, but cabbage does seem to kill them at least temporarily or at least somewhat. Pomegranate juice seemed to have some effect, but not enough. Onions and cayenne seemed to have no effect on pin worms for us. Not sure about garlic, but it also may have effects. Black walnut hulls are a very popular herb to kill worms. I think we got the best results from grapefruit seed extract. There are several formulas often talked about in the autism arena that contain: cloves, black walnut hulls, wormwood, garlic, and a slew of other ingredients. Even after nine months of treating, to include even using prescription meds for pinworms, we still had them return. I have heard of people saying they de-worm once a month or every full moon. Now I know why. Interesting theory about Lutimax stimulating the worms. Anyone else notice this? Guest guest
Bethany, I almost was going to post that it's most likely undigested food and it might be as most worms we deal with are not visible to the naked eye--i have taped up so much funk and sent it off to labs, EAV testing and outside of a live round worm...they all came back as undigested food fragments. But I googled lutien and tada....it can be effective against worms....odd that we are using it to protect the brain and increase function and we have seen nice results. But things that help against worms and GSE or OoO are staples for combatting the other funk that gets stirred up: Pumpkin seeds: high lutien and the oil is supposed to dislodge the suckers from the GI tract Raw Ginger: love it...helpful for flushing the lymphs and against worms (my client at Bloomingdales told me sushi was ok during pregnancy in her culture due to the ginger and wasabi) Artiminisin: good stuff period...great against parasites, antioxidant. 2 weeks on 1 week off is the norm and if you notice anything with the ears STOP Garlic: One of my go to girl practictioners had a mom whose kid couldn't get rid of the worms, she finally just jammed a raw clove of garlic up the tush and that got them. Not saying to do that, but since most of us test drive stuff before giving it to our kids....this one I have not tried....garlic can be tough if sulfur sensitive or piperine sensitive Black walnut hulls: clear the wreckage Luvos*: blows them up Marco Parasites*: like this product Isagenix has a product called Isaflush*: bentonite clay, mag oxide (gotta keep the colon moving) and black walnut hulls *call carol at renewal enterprises We love this salad during the full and new moons--low oxalate and mango helps the gallbladder: arugala, mango, little onion, chicken, raw ginger drizzled with pumpkinseed oil. My kid isn't a picky eater Pumpkin seed oil isn't the easiest thing to find, so grab it when you find it. Matty also LOVES this "peanut butter"...toast raw pumkin seeds and grind up...add a little honey, good salt and pumpkin seed oil and put on rice cracker...yum! When i got the live one we were doing a homeopathic metal and organ support detox....stirred up way too much, but tackling biofilms unleashes alot of uninvited guests. guess we just have to keep plugging away until the immune system can handle this stuff on it's own. lisa
Guest guest
Warning - a little graphic Wow, I didn't realize they were soooo prevalent!! So it sounds like this is something everyone gets but show up more in suppressed immune systems. I have only seen dead ones so far. Most of them, when prodded, seem to disintegrate. I'm wondering if those might be candida. Then yesterday I finally got over my disgust enough to extract a couple that definitely looked like worms. I put them in some water to see if they would move, but nothing. Their edges looked a little fuzzy in water. I read that when they die, pinworms disintegrate, so maybe that was what was happening. I'm actually a little happy(?) to discover this, because I know parasites cause seizures, and maybe kicking these out somewhat will help that! Guest guest
Hi Bethany, Did your son go through any die-off or regression before the worms came out? Just curious. We are getting Lutimax soon and I'm just trying to prepare for what might happen. I felt that same sort of excitement when parasites started showing up in my kids stools, too. I think getting them out helps the immune system and gut funtion better, but it does seem like something that is a constant work in progress. I think it brought on a surge of inflammation for my son, but I'm not sure. Also...what does candida look like in the stool? I've heard so many descriptions--what is your take on it? Glad you are getting those yucky guys out of there na > > > > > > Organic coffee (only organic) is said to be best, but he is chemically > > > individual and only you know whether he could handle it or not. Guest guest
na, About an hour after the first time I gave my son Lutimax (1/4 t), he started walking in circles in a hyperactive, distressed way. I gave him some theanine and he calmed right down. Then the next 2 mornings at 5am he had grand mal seizures (honestly they're not too bad - about a minute long). So the next day we lowered the dose. We stayed on 1/8 t 3x/day for two weeks. Now we're on 1/4 t 3x/day, and he's been a little hyperactive, but so far no seizures. Seizures are definitely die-off for us. Also, he has diarrhea for a few days when we first started and increased the dose. So the diarrhea all by itself might have brought out the worms, or the worms could have caused the diarrhea as they died, not sure. I haven't heard very many descriptions of candida (what it looks like when it comes out). All I've heard is that it can be like threads?? I'd be very curious to hear what you or anyone else knows! Thanks, Bethany > > > > > > > > Organic coffee (only organic) is said to be best, but he is chemically > > > > individual and only you know whether he could handle it or not. Guest guest
I did some Googling, and found that Rutin, which is in Lutimax, has effects against pin worms. For us, when we have treated them, both dead and moving (live) ones were present in stools. We only see them present in stools when giving things to kill them. Feces doesn't stick to them, so they stand out. They are so easy to recognize in the stools that you will be sure when you see them that they are worms, especially if they are moving. But, because of their small size and their white luminescent color, they can be difficult to see on the skin or out of the body. They don't fall apart easy. They turn hard as a rock after they die. Guest guest
That's really good to know about pinworms. I didn't know they turned hard when they died! I'm going to have to take a closer look. I have some ideas about using water to dilute a sample and then straining it. Ugh, but probably necessary. > > > > > > > > > > Organic coffee (only organic) is said to be best, but he is chemically > > > > > individual and only you know whether he could handle it or not. Guest guest
, Thanks, that is GREAT information. What worms are not visible to the naked eye? Or do you mean just the very immature worms? Guest guest
Hi Heidi!Did you see any noticeable gains in your children when treating pinworms? Did you get their stools tested or how did you determine they had worms? I am pretty sure they are a bigger deal with my son than our doctor recognizes. We are doing additional biofeedback testing in two weeks to determine the parasite issue. What is your advice for treating them? Thanks,naSent from my iPhone Pin worms can look like tiny strands. Guest guest
We did see a doc and all, but pinworms are very obvious. They actually crawl a lot. You won't be guessing if it's a worm. They are very obvious a worm until they die. When they die, they turn hard and look like a toe nail clipping. The only problem is trying to see them outside of the body, not in stools. They are very easy to see in the stools. At night, right around 9 or 10pm, the anus tickles or itches as it squirms out. The kids hate the feeling and complain that they can not sleep due to their butt itching. Upon inspection, you can see them actually crawling out. Yes, it's gross. We never noticed them until we took something that kills them upon trying to treat bad bacteria. So, basically, for some odd reason, we never feel them crawling out unless we are taking something to kill them. Maybe they do it slower or later when they are not being poisoned. They always crawl out to lay eggs and then immediately die. As far as I know, we never had pinworms until someone came to live with us who had them. I was ignorant at the time. The person would often scratch her behind as if adjusting too tight underwear or something. She was a child, totally unaware that she had pinworms. Today, when I see people do that, I automatically think they might have pinworms. As I mentioned before, the only true way to rid them is to treat over and over. I am not sure what is the best treatment. I do know that the whole house is thought to be infected if one person is, and that often docs will treat everyone in the house, if one person has them. For us, grapefruit seed extract in liquid form seemed to work the best. But, we also got results from many things that are reported to kill them. We even tried prescription, which did work, but only for a few days. Just keep in mind that they are not as easy to kill and keep from reinfection as you would think. If you Google, you will learn that having worms can cause developmental delays and even mental retardation. So, it appears possible that worms could cause autism. It's a shame that medical doctors don't automatically look for worms in their patients with developmental delays. Such things should always be ruled out.
