Guest guest
Anybody have any luck alleviating ASD symptoms with mHBOT? We signed up for 40 free dives at a non-profit organization over the summer. The philanthropist who runs the place says he has helped over 400 ASD kids lose their symptoms. Some people say that you need 2.4 ATM to kill the lyme & co., but he says mHBOT works just as well and that hard chambers are too rough for kids to endure. We see our son's LLMD in June before the dives, so I don't know if he'll still keep him on abx then or not. In 15 months of abx, we've seen a little improvement in expressive language, but the verbal stimming and fear/anxiety are as bad as they've ever been. HBOT is supposed to allow the abx to go deeper into the tissues, bone, and brain. I've read of a few recovery stories with HBOT, but most recovered kids seem to be on the PDD-NOS or Aspie side of the spectrum. I think we may have an autoimmune component to his symptoms. Nervously, we tried a 5-day low-dose prednisone burst on him last month. On day 8, we had a non-stimmy day. At school, they said he looked "tired." At any rate, stimming slowly returned to "normal" over the next few days. Pycnogenol seemed to increase his stimming, too, which is another autoimmune clue. Still searching for the magic bullet...
