Guest guest
Vicki, I have no experience with Welbutrin, I am on Celexa and I feel so much better on it. I believe admitting that you need this medication is the first step towards recovery. Guest guest
Actually, there is a book called " Diabetes For Dummies. " I bought it in March. It is a very good book...tells you in simple language all about diabetes. As for Wellbutrin...it is ok. I took it for awhile. It made me very nervous, so I had to stop. Guest guest
Vicki, I am on Welbutrin.. I started taking this after I found out I was diabetic and had already lost weight... I have not really lost additional weight after starting Welbutrin, but I have not gained any of the weight I lost back... this medicine has helped me deal with a lot of stress I was having at the time and I noticed a my mood changing from it too.. > > Is there a book that someone would suggest so I can > > learn more about this disease? Guest guest
Pam, I can't get over how easy that book is to understand. When I went with mom to the dr's office to visit the Endo one of the nurses happened to walk by me and as she walked by she saw I had the book in my hand. She didn't know at first that I had the Diabetes for Dummies book but then she stopped and held the book up a little so she could see it. Then she said, " Now I've seen it all. I can't believe it. lol Diabetes for Dummies. " We even told the dr about the book. ===== Kristy http://www.geocities.com/sokokl/kristyspersonalpage.html Hoping to be a nurse soon but for now just a Medical Secretary who does a lot of learning from reading on the Net, books, my dr(s), as well as sharing my own personal experiences. __________________________________________________

Guest guest
Another GREAT book with a less offensive name than Diabetes for Dummies is Diabetes Is Not A Piece of Cake, if your wife feels more comfortable with that name!!! I know I personally would be offended if someone I didnt know recommended a Dummies book, but then again, thats me.
