Guest guest
You have no friggin thyroid gland. 2 grains would certainly be reasonable. If you don't have feelings of fluctuation, then what is he concerned with---the test fluctuation? My tsh is about like yours on 90mg Arnour--.03. Maybe you could do the test in the a.m before you take any meds. Guest guest
Hi , Gosh, I think your numbers look pretty darn good. I was feeling pretty good at .028 (TSH), but I was still under dosed at that time. What a dingaling, huh?!!! (Your doctor, of course!) Good luck at trying to enlighten her. It sounds like you are already doing a good job of that. Too bad that you are now having to take a lower dose, but it sounds like that will be changing soon! Guest guest
Hi , What makes me so furious about your story about your dr. visit is that she did not listen to you or go by how you are feeling. Grrrrr That just makes by hair stand on end! Guest guest
My PA was " very concerned " when she saw my TSH at 0.28 as well (I typed in the wrong number on one of my posts to you - my TSH was 0.28 not 0.028!). Like I keep telling everybody here, she called me up and said to me " I bet you are feeling really good - we need to drop you dose. " What a bimbo! Zina > Interesting.......and she said that if it had been over 80 she would have > been " very concerned " . > > in AZ > > > > > She then wanted to check my heart rate as the tech wrote that I had 80 > > > beats/minute! > > > > This tells absolutely nothing! Guest guest
So , are you going to just ignore her instructions then? You still can stay on the dose that works for you. I would. When I dropped my dose because my PA was " nervous " over my results, I had such a terrible time with being hypo it was pitiful. I don't know if you remember, but I had awful PMS. BOY did it EVER! I don't remember the exact numbers throughout the day, but in the morning when she tested her TSH was 1.50, and by 7pm that evening it was just under 5! She wasn't on meds and her doctor diagnosed her due to the averages in the numbers! If I find that post I'll be sure and post the URL here. Guest guest
Okay, maybe I'm an idiot, but wouldn't a persons TSH fluctuate during the day even if they didn't have thyroid disease? Isn't that normal, to fluctuate? How could your TSH stay the same all day long? I don't think a fluctuating TSH level has anything to do with a thyroid hormone replacement (and of course they ALWAYS pick on the natural thyroid) not being consistent enough. Guest guest
I meant to include this from 's post about her doctor's appt.! Oops! I believe a person's HR could go up 10 beats or so due to stress and nerves, and the doctors should KNOW this and consider it when using temp to help make a decision about patient care. I sure hope you can straighten this out, , and get the final word on what's going on. Ella
