Geez - Could that list be any worse? I have nightly, painful bladder spasms and

never put it together with my coffee intake ... I've also never really felt too

badly for myself, except now. Stopping coffee and chocolate??? Ikes ... think

the spasms may be worth it ;-)

This is an article on foods to avoid if you have an overactive bladder (and/or

an easily irritated bladder as most of us do). I thought it was an interesting

list, some of the things I knew but some of it I didnt so thought I would share

:)

Any caffeine is horrible for people with bladder issues. But, moderation is

the key. I avoid caffeine, but don't deny myself if I crave something that

happens to have it. I drink decaf. It tastes the same. It's not caffeine

free, but does have less than regular.

Sheesh! That is a tough no-no list! Even at five years old, Sofia likes to

drink decaf tea. Being Chinese, maybe it's in her genes.; ) We'll have to try

to find a good herbal alternative for her.

And who doesn't love chocolate??!!

OMG

No coffee anymore.

No tomatos (i won two time a cooking tournement with my tomatosoup)

I eat allmost tomatos by all i eat

One thing i drink not so much is grandberry o the rocks (yep you get it, i

was thinking it is not handy because you'll need to go more often to the

toilet.)

Like you drink a lot of water right.

So this is real usefull info.

I know!! LOL Well, its a difficult list to avoid but the way I am looking at it

is, something to keep in mind and notice if these items effect me in a negative

way. If so, those I will get rid of or at least limit. Or if I notice I am

suddenly having difficulty, I can look and see if I have been consuming some of

these in excess and cut back, realizing it is what I am eating and drinking

rather than attributing it to neurological decline. Congratulations on your

soups!!
