Guest guest
Hi, The best resourse for dealing with candida can be found here: http://www.infosky.net/~alexmi/candida.htm IMHO no potatoes, peas and fruit of any kind should be eaten. Realise that you cannot beat it with diet alone. You _have_ to use a rotation system of anti-fungals to kill the fungus off. And you have to be very strict about it. My sister did it and it worked! Took about 4-6 months. Good luck! Guest guest
Very few people will succede in curing candidiasis by adjusting diet and using anti fungals only. Most people will succede by cleansing parasites, cleansing liver (at least 8-15 cleanses), and geeting rid of amalgam and dead teeth (root canal fillings). Homeopatic tretment can also be very effective. But rarely enough to avoid liver cleanse. Of course, diet is always important, but diet only is not enough. Bare in mind that there is no diet that can be called candidiasis diet. There are only general guidelines, which cn differ from person to person. Individual sensistivity makes it impossible to design only one diet. But sugar, yeast fermented foods, alcohol, vinegar, flour products and other processed and sweet foods are never part of any good diet. Candidasis did not exist in stone age, and does not exist in countries where people does not eat processed foods, antibiotics, pesticides, chlorine. It is processed food that is the worst. Guest guest
I used to have pretty serious candida (most allergies are candida). First of all stop taking antibiotics. Cut down on sugar. All that rotation diet stuff and real strick diet is ok, but really a hassel. Just limit startches and sugars and stay away from molds, cheese & milk. That will get it under control. It will always come back if you cheat really bad on your diet or take antibiotics again. But you can get it under contol again, easy. I never get it as bad because I stopped antibiotics. They are awful! Also taking oregano oil in water will help cut the mucous that the fungus grows in. And any other immune function boosters like garlic and good antioxidants. Guest guest
Thanks alot . I am pretty much doing all that. Thank goodness I never really had to take alot of antibiotics. I guess I could limit the starches more.laura ----- Original Message ----- From: <g22011@...> <gallstones > Sent: Sunday, September 30, 2001 8:47 PM Subject: Re: laura's candida diet question > I used to have pretty serious candida (most allergies are candida). Guest guest
IMHO, the best candida diet is the MEVY diet...Meat, Eggs, Vegetables, Yogurt. You really lose the poundage on it, too. It's just very boring because of the lack of variety. If you take caprylic acid, garlic and goldenseal while you are MEVYing you should be able to kill lots of candida over a three-month period. Then try a good probiotic for a few months (I LOVED Primal Defense...www.primaldefense.com) and you should be in great shape, candida-wise. Some peole just do the PD and the MEVY and swear it works just as well. Hugs, Roseanna in NoCal; FMS/CFS always; hypothyroid (cytomel) 8/73, HG diet 3/99, wheat-free 3/99, guai/robinul 8/99, whey 4 tsp daily 04/01, amalgams out 6/01, 5 liver cleanses; caffeine-free 09/01 _________________________________________________________________ Get your FREE download of MSN Explorer at http://explorer.msn.com/intl.asp
Guest guest
Thanks nna. If I only d idn't have an allergy to dairy and eggs! I'll just cut down on starches and see about a probiotic. From what I've learned most adults need a probiotic anyway. laura
