Guest guest
Yes..I was going to order the magnesium powder from Kirkman..but a friend whose daughter is in the spectrum said to try the epsom salts in the bath..so I have been using it.. has been sleeping all night..but, he is also on risperdal, so it could be a combination of the two. Guest guest
Epsom Salts actually work. It's not like a life-altering kind of change, but a noticeable one where they are just mellowed out and content, it seems. Temporarily. Magnesium has so many good effects. I even ordered something called CalMax for ME, to see if it would help me. I don't use it faithfully, and always end up running out of it. The only word of caution is that if your child is the type to drink bathwater - - - watch out. The stuff should not be ingested if it can be helped. Guest guest
i would go with the Epsom Salts, Mimi. I ordered the Magnesium Cream from Kirkmans and it made Jacqui break-out. A pretty common side effect. Epsom Salts are cheaper, too. :-) Penny

Guest guest
No problem, Mimi. It won't kill you or anything. But it will give him the runs ... I think. Or something. I can't recall exactly, but it wasn't a desired effect, so don't let him LOL. You don't want him guzzling it, but if he takes a few drinks, no big thing. I can never tell if this helps Mikey or not. Baths rev him up so much...:/ -Sara.
