(was) Offense (now) the heat

We are in our 4 day of record breaking heat. It was 118 on Friday but each day since it has cooled off a little. I think the forecast is for 112 today but I'm not sure. At this point I'm trying to shut it all out! lol

I'm staying inside with the AC going and all the fans blowing on high. In the afternoon the sun beats down on the living room windows and it gets pretty hot in here. I saw in the newspaper that 5 homeless men died of the heat in Phoenix since last Thursday. I've been hearing stories like that from all over the country.

Just think of it as a big roast. The Natives thought that eating the heart brought the courage of the beast. (Does that count for Chicken hearts, too?)
