Guest guest
1. Severe leg pain as child or teen? 2. Have a history of sprains more than broken bones? 3. Inability to regulate own body temp? #1 and #3 definitely apply to me. I worry about my 13 year old when she complains of leg pain and back pain. I sure hope she doesn't inherit this crud from me. She is a lot like her Dad, so I hope she takes her medical genes after him. hugs, Sundra
Guest guest
Debi Y. I cannot remember the exact age but I was in the first grade when I got chicken pox.. and pneumonia, after I had chicken pox. my leg's hurt all the time.. and as I got older they just got worse. I had a lot of sprained ankle's and sprained hands and wrist's when I was younger mom said it was b/c I was too much of a tomboy..(working on the farm helping dad I don't think classifies me as a tomboy just a hard worker..) Some time's I feel very hot when other's say it's cold.. and then when other's are hot I am freezing and cannot get warm no matter what I do.. weird.. You are so right this all dose really suck. I hate feeling like this all the time. and for me it dose not seem to be getting better only worse. Gentle Caring Hug's Marie Marie A. Roomsburg P.O. Guest guest
Jen, Thanks for the answer. I would be concerned also, isn't it odd that this can manifest itself on and off in childhood but once someone is an adult at a point it kicks so hard. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.__________________________________________________
Guest guest
Debi - hope you'll be feeling better soon. Do you think you might have a flu too? As for the questions: I had terrible "aches" in my legs as a teen yes - I remember that. Seems like it came on after I started menstruating [but can't swear by that]. I also get pains in my legs when I menstruate, but the aches I got as a kid were different. They were always in my calves. I was told they were "growing pains..." I had a sprain maybe once... no broken bones nope. Oh but I had a fracture. But that was due to me doing something so rough, the muscle pulled so hard on the bone, it cracked it. ;-) [i was qualifying with the grenade in the Army, and really got into it, diving into the ground and jumping up lolol!]. I've had "bouts" when I feel like I just can't get warm, no matter what I do, then might be so hot a few hours later. But I have found this is usually due to either; Lupus [low grade fevers] or hormones... xo li ----- Original Message ----- I spent two days of semi pain and just kept my activity low, even my morning after the gig was not too bad. Today is horrible. THe morning fog and walking like the mummy. I cannot get warm no matter what I do. My head hurts, eyes, chest, and who pray tell ate the little invisiable men who are scurring all over my body and driving little pick axes into my body. I can't even decied where I hurt the most. I am trying to get the holiday crap out of the way and am making gifts so I have to get going here. I am wondering how many people have these following symptoms? 1. Severe leg pain as child or teen? 2. Have a history of sprains more than broken bones? 3. Inability to regulate own body temp?
