Guest guest Posted December 18, 2004 Report Share Posted December 18, 2004 Flexeril is a muscle relaxer. I take the 10mg about 3x a day, along with my Percoset or Ultram if needed. The doc has me taking 2 at nite=20mg to help with my "restless legs".....but that doesn't seem to be working. Flexeril relaxes me but doesn't knock me out. I have had episodes of severe muscle spasms in my back for several years now, and the Flexeril has always helped. Skelaxin doesn't work for me. I think it all depends on what other meds you are on, that it would be making you dizzy and sleepy. marieava wrote: tonight I have been real dizzy every time I get up to go in the kitchen or go to the bathroom.. The Flexeril is not helping with my spasm's at all.. though I know it's supposed to.. he only has me on 10mg at night. along with 50mg elivil, and I take 10mg, Bextra in the morning, and 100mg, Zoloft in the morning and he has me on one asprin daily which I take at night as he said to.. I take my Genasec for the pain it help's some.. worked great in the begining but like anything else I am proble getting immune to it..
