Well, my maternal grandmother made me test the hens to see who was laying:

the rule was: two fingers, headed for the big and final squeeze; three and the hen

got to go on laying! I am not kidding! Love, n

ps - this grandma taught me to tie flies, clean and scale fish, and to put the cotter

pin in the boat outboard motor--all rather dirty jobs! Love, n

Hi Jackie,

I don't use most of the sugar "alternatives", bascially becauseof their make-up. Natural, like Stevia, I would. Splenda is made from sugar, but has chlorine molecules added. That right there is enough for me. LOL I always envision having Splenda in my ice cream, with a bit of Tide sprinkled over the top. LOLOL

I’ve only used the liquid and it wasn’t very tasty at all. Why again do some of you not use Splenda? I have read some bad things about it, but I never know what to believe as there are so many that use it and don’t have a problem with it.

Thanks for sharing.

What a bummer Jackie!

We've only used the Stevia powder in our house and haven't had a problem with the after taste. has used the liquid many times at a friend's house. He said it wasn't bad, but prefers the powder.
