Guest guest
Hi Becky, I wanted to thank you for your response. Most of the meds that help with the pain, I'm allergic to. So I am having trouble finding something that helps, and I'm not allgeric to it. At the moment, I take generic Tylenol Arthritis. It dulls it enough that I can cope, most of the time. The last pain doctor I went to, insisted I take medication I'm allergic to, so I quit seeing him. The neuro doctors I've seen, tell me that, I don't have the right insurance. So I can't have surgery. In other words, I'm low income, on Medicare and Medicaid, and don't stand a snowballs chance in hell of having surgery. But, there's always a but, I have talked to several people who have had back surgery. They tell me, that they wished they never had to start with. It hasn't done them any good, and their pain is, either the same or worse than before. So I have learned to deal with it the best way I can. Sometimes I can't , those are the really bad days. If anyone has any suggestions, I'm all ears. Thanks, Mae
