A woman down the street from my parents took a shotgun, went out to a tree in the front yard, sat down and blew herself away. My father later learned it was because of her boyfriend leaving her. She is dead and he is living his life just fine. Who won and who lost? As far as I am concerned, I agree with previous posts that this man sounds like a real sicko and needs to not be able to have access to either one of you. His suggestion that he marry your daughter and that they take care of you sounds perverted to me. My aunt who celebrated her 90th birthday recently always told me that there are worse things than being alone and I believe being alone would be better than being with him.
